Why was the server offline?!

Well, first there was a failure of the internet provider in holland.
BUT, i said to my mother:”Mom.. We don’t have internet, i don’t think it’s the failure of the internet…”
My mother told me:”Oh.. There are some problems with the internet”
I will not give more info about that, that’s privately! ;)

The CGteam was not sleeping in the time with NO internet! 

In the time that there was no internet in the house of CGbozzB, i was much thinking about CG, the future, and some thing to add. 
Some people of the CGteam who are not busy with school, were busy with CG things to, CGpromoterB (Doliri) was making plans for CG.
CGprogrammerS (xilionhero) was working on an AWESOME mod for the ChoclateGroup Family server! And he have also add it to www.minecraftforum.net, you can find it here:  http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1228961-125-the-chocolate-mod-with-smp-support/ 

It’s special because he have spend a hole day on it, no, i think one hole weekend, with love and more like that! :-)

Donations: Still not obligatory 
 
It is very useful to donate to ChoclateGroup, because we are using that for better hardware stuff for the CGserver and more like that stuff.
We do not say:”If you do not donate you are not able to use the servers”
Come on! We are a family, and if you can give money, feel free, if not and you want to buy some chocolate, why not?! IT’S YOUR MONEY!

Hmm, i think the CGserver will stay online 24/7, there are no problems with money, that was only this month.
But we can not guarantee that it will stay, with donations we are sure that it is 100% online every day, every week, every month!

Well, after 1 week NO internet…. It was fine without internet, and other than that i had internet….
That was the real life, i was playing keyboard, was doing nothing…!

Yesterday i swapped my netbook a better laptop, so i can play games on my laptop, Minecraft!

I will no longer use my Game computer, from today it is the: ChoclateGroup Family PC server! Now we can play more games together as Family at the CGserver!

I have talk for a couple of hours with Melcher (vveekk) about servers, upload speed ect.

The server is in the house of me with a upload speed of: 1.5….and
PC AMD phenom II x4 965 (4CPU) 3,2 Ghz (6GB ram)

We will change the place of the CGserver, it will stand at the house of Melcher, with a upload speed of 30. and pc:
 AMD athlon(tm) II x4 605e Processor *4CPUs), ~3.2GHz (8GBram)

So that’s awesome! The server is 8/3/2012 the hole day offline.
later of that day the server will be up at choclategroup.net so we will fix a better place! it wil offline at(SOON) ;)

We are working on the register system, it works, but not fast enough.
Soon when we are done: After register you can play in the minecraft server without waiting. Now you need to wait 10 minutes-1 hour.

(5) No game changes
The reason that there are no changes in the CG game list is:
We do not know the best way to use Garry’s mod as CGserver (only CGmembers)
And free to play. So maybe soon we will fix that in update 3.1 ( we hope so!)

Maybe we will add Team fortress 2 in the game list at update 3.1 
(Redposion lucky guy!) If not, it will come in 4.0!
